    e36 exhaust on 24v swapped e30

Does the e36 midsection with cats bolt up or do I need to get cats welded in?

I don't always wreck cars, but when I do I wreck them into trees.

        It will hang pretty low.

It will fit just fine, sound great and pass emissions.

Biggest downside is that it's heavy.

I recommend the OBD2 cats because they have less restriction.

It will hang VERY low. Like it will hang down that it will drag on speed bumps while on E30 M3 springs.

Agreed, mine does hang rather low. Contemplating a custom system... I like hoveringuy's mounting points though. That could really pull it in closer to the chassis in that section.

That is much better. It sure is tucked though and with the e36 downpipe on the midpipe not sure how that could be completely stock and be that far up in there.

I've never had them, never will. Everything fit fine with stock CABs once I did some slight modification to the down pipes.

No, did not use the 12lb clearance tool (this time). Used hacksaw to cut halfway into the pipe in strategic locations, bent the pipe slightly into the cut, Mig'd back together.
