    No fuel.

M50 non-vanos, Just put a new head on. Hooked everything up. It will turn over but there is no fuel getting to the cylinders, the throttle body does not move at all when I go to turn it over, and I do not smell fuel after attempting to check. Any help would be greatly appreciated

throttle body doesnt move automatically. Thats the Idle control Valve's job.

Do you hear the fuel pump when you turn the key?

Fuel rail hooked up properly? In is at the front of the rail, return at the rear by the firewall?

Camshaft and crankshaft sensors hooked up/not reversed?

Not a particular noise when I turn the key. Fuel rail is connected properly. Cam and Crank sensors are on correctly.

      Do ICV's fail often?

it will still fire with a bad ICV..just will have a really rough idle. ICV controls air, not fuel.

        Do you have spark?

So you dont hear the fuel pump?

Which engine management? The NV M50?

Sparking and Fueling is dependent on Crank Signal. Then the fuel pump is turned on by the ECU when its senses cranking..

Does the crank sensor go to a plug and wire to the ecu? or by the oil canister?

There should be main harness underneath your intake. On the later VM50 the CPS and CAMPS have reversed connectors. This engine harness goes back to your ECU.

You will need a pin-out diagram for your engine management to check your CPS. Wedophones.com has the diagram (In a cryptic location).

If its a VR sensor you can read for MV while cranking by back probing the ECU Connector.

fuel pump should also prime when you first turn the key to run. Fuel pump relay wasnt unplugged?
