    e36 airbox in 24v swap

    anyone ever get a e36 airbox to fit? any kind of modification?

    Yeah, there are some pictures floating around on R3v.
    It looks proper good.

      m42 radiator cleans it up well.

      No ABS, its just not going to happen with a pump down there!

      I used an M30 airbox on my last car with ABS fitted, my inlet temps are now up to 10°C cooler as the E36 box has a huge intake hole directly behind the headlights

            Well I have the abs pump, and I cut the e36 box in half, got rid of the plastic below the filter. Got it to fit with a slight bend in the intake boot. If I removed the bracket for the e30 airbox I can get it to sit right, but I think I am going overboard- only doing this for BAR appt. My setup looks mickey mouse to the max

                      The box out of either a Euro 3.2l E36 M3, Euro 3.2l M Roadster/Coupe or S54 powered M Roadster/Coupe.
