I would rather spend 4 hours fishing through the plug hole than taking the head off because of a nozzle. 
You can try taking an air compressor with one of those cleaning nozzles and blasting air in there on/off and if you're patient, physics says the nozzle should shoot out sooner or later.
It takes years before pistons stick to the cylinder due to rust. I helped a friend get an engine like that turning. It was in someones yard on the ground for like 3 or 4 years. Even if you got rust from a couple days humidity in there, it would be like the orange stuff on brake rotors, you can wipe it off with your finger.
