Do you have a performance pressure plate? Could cause issues as it will give the slave cyl more resistance.

can you shine a flashlight in there to see if the fork is misaligned or bent? What would cause that? Either a throwout bearing casing breaking or maybe the spring on the pivot end came off?!?!
I'm running a 328 slave on zf trans...with M20 clutch stuff. My first slave looked like it had over extended itself but was still working?!?! I pulled the slave out and the rod stayed in!! oops. Only figured this out because I blew out my pressure plate.
Also bleed the slave by pressing against the bell housing before you put it in, mucho easier!'87 325ic, powered by S50.

WELL.......
Last night we installed the slave in the trans before stabbing and it is holding pressure.
I strongly recommend doing it like this, makes it a lot easier in the long run. Shouldn't be long now to key turning....Originally posted by 325Projectzdon't listen to the diagram... listen to mr. swiss.

wow. suck
I've had a master and slave die at the same time mid wangan!
if you get the slave pin stuck in the gap between bellhousing and pp you can hole saw an access/fish crap out hole in the bellhousing. S54 couldn't damage the holy bellhouse; its quite strong lolOBD1 M54/M52TU swap as a M50b25

All is well. I can only figure the rods were not lining up on the fork as I was putting them in with the super tight clearance. I did replace the TOB since I pulled it all off. I spent the night before taking all the bolts out and dropping it, next day we stabbed it in. Took about 15 minutes of fighting and had to jack motor up since tunnel is so tight but it's def doable. Installed with slave and all on. Should have the bellow for the 3.5" intake today and turn the key.Originally posted by 325Projectzdon't listen to the diagram... listen to mr. swiss.
