The charger in the pic above turned out to be an M62. I found one on eBay, it's 19" long. I need to measure and see if I have the room for it. If so I will try to sell off the M90 to fund the M62.
The one I used on my build is a M62 from a 2007 cobalt ss... for a 2.5L engine its good enough for 6-7PSI u dont want more then that on a roots type anyways.

Great build lots of work... dont be discouraged by the SC build... Its not easy I wont lie but I think its worth it 100%.

Send me ur e-mail I will give you access to my blog your going to be very inspired :D got a few vids up already

Basically I found this picture online and got really excited. This is an Eaton M62 which has a much smaller snout and pushes 62 cubic inches of air per rotation. The M90 pushes 90 cubic inches. I picked up the charger for $91 shipped. It was so cheap that I had to try. And if it turns out it can't be done, I am pretty confident that I can get my $100 out of it.

Well the charger arrived. It's an Eaton M90 from a 3.8 Buick Park Avenue Ultra. Its a Gen 3 charger.

This sucker is big... not sure if there is room for it where the AC compressor was...

Also the snout is leaking like a son of a bitch. Going to have to replace the snout seal.

    Here are poopy iPhone pics:

You're getting a supercharger?! So sick can't wait for this one!

What brand did you go with?

Supercharger arrives with week. Assuming I can get it to fit somewhere, the the intake will end up being behind the passenger side headlights. Then the charged air will be intercooled. That's the plan anyway.

    Thats a clean bay!

Do you plan on making a heat shield for your intake? The alternator creates alot of heat so you virtually have a hot air intake as of right now. Lol. Or maybe just make a mounting bracket so the filter sits a bit higher up?

Here is an updated shot of the engine bay now that it is all done and buttoned up.

Here are some shots form under the car, mostly exhaust.

I pulled my grills and gave them the trim black treatment as well. So while I'm doing this I notice that my grills do not match. I have a euro grill on the passenger side and a US grill on the drivers side. Kinda odd.

They came out really good. From 5 feet away they look brand new.

I think this is some sort of sealant that as burned into the manifold. I have seen it on other manifolds as well. That's my best guess.
