    Best economic flywheel/clutch for 24v

Trying to put together a economic 24v swap that I might end up boosting in a year or so. But I have a auto donor so I need flywheel/clutch and I'm using my stock e30 getrag260.
What would be the best ideal clutch setup for a good price. That
    Could hold 250-300 crank hp?
I'm scared to use my dual mass eta clutch.

Millers Mule for light weight, you might not like it for a turbo

stock 240mm dual mass M50 family clutch.

      if your friend owns a e46m3 / e36m3 (dual mass 240mm)

      OR

      e28m5 / e34 m5 (single mass 240mm)

and replaced its clutch with something cool you can put the stock clutch set into your e30. works great no joke

S38/M30 240mm single mass clutch (e24/e28/34) M spec. the complete flywheel+friction disc+pressure plate just fits into a G260. I test fitted this myself last week.

Stack height is also same between G260 original clutch, S52 clutch with DM fly, s38/m30 single mass. splines @ transmission are identical between a G260, Zfsg320, G265-6 or G280-5.

both will handle 350 hp/lb-ft + in original factory form, AND plug and play with G260.

Both will require you use a 24v starter, but you will need to do that regardless as you are installing a 24v engine.

The USA specific S52b32 version has the lightest dual mass 240mm flywheel at ~22lbs.
      s50b30's and m50b25 nonvanos usually have a ~ 30 lb flywheel

dual mass flywheels are wear items......so check the condition before you assume a used one is good. or order a brand new unit.

240mm dual mass was used stateside in:

m50 nonvanos 525i 1991-1992 (weaker clamping pressure plate than M3 obviously)
      s50b30 1995 m3
      s52b32 1996-1999 m3

m54b30 330i e46 5 speed (weaker clamping pressure plate than M3 obviously, new style SAC self adjusting)
m52b28 528i e39 5 speed (weaker clamping pressure plate than M3 obviously, new style SAC self adjusting)

s54b32: giant inside spline for Getrag sg420 6 speed, but 240mm pressure plate and dual mass flywheel will plug and play into a G260 with S52 pressure plate.

      euro:

      s50b30 euro e36 M3 *286hp
      s50b32 euro e36m3 *316bhp - uk version is weaker than germany 321hp*

If high torque use is of concern S50/s52 pressure plate and friction disc. they are the highest rated items, I have personally used successfully with S54b32 (343hp).

Daily driver ok. fit is Plug and play into a G260. works with M20 also lol

        so the S54 clutch/PP/FW won't work with the ZF320?

It will. Besides the friction disc w big splines.

Similarly the s50/52 clutch pp+dual mass fly is lighter than s54 and has no sac.

Only the friction discs differ. ( normal size spline for zfsg32, giant v8/v12 size for the e46m part)
