Checked both the charcoal canister valve and played with the throttle body.. The valve was buttoned up properly and the throttle body was smooth all-throughout. I adjusted it while the engine was running and it didn't do the trick :(

Hmm I'm really running out of ideas

The purge valve (charcoal canister valve) ha an arrow showing direction of flow, this should flow into the tb, if it's backwards you would have a Vac leak when it opens.

What a great idea! Haven't really thought about that, especially since the one that im currently using was from an m50d e34 auto.. Does it matter if the ecu came out of a car with an auto?

I will check over that again tomorrow. Thankfully i have no school on fridays so I'll check into the purge valve.

Thanks for the help guys! And updated the OP with the vid on youtube (and if you want to see me constantly get smoked by my buddies fully modded e36 M, check the uploaders other vids ;))

No I haven't been able to :(.. I've been trying to do the diagnostics at home as much as I can because I am lacking the moneys to do any other tests at a shop.. Unemployment sucks :hitler: Plus i'm figuring the last bits out of the swap before I attempt to get the car BAR'd. It's almost there.

How much do smoke test's run?

Remove mech fan, open hood, fire up bleezy, and see if the car takes a puff.

If so proceed to the urine test.

Smoke a blunt, blow the smoke over the engine bay. Watch smoke get sucked into vacuum leak.

Ughh... Double checked my purge valve to see if its pointing the right direction and it was. Swapped it out with another one and it did nothing.

Took the above suggestion of swapping ecu's. I used the 413 red label from my brothers auto e36 and it actually made the hang worse :???:

Old ecu (which I've been running for 7 months).. Came out of an auto e34..
