worked long and hard, still no spark. 24v wiring issue

Hey guys i have a s50 going into my 1987 325is. i dont have any spark, and i only have the fuel pump when i jump the circuit. also there is no power at the fuel pump relay, i used a test light on it. The engine will crank, just no fire.

engine harness was pulled from the donor car when i pulled the engine. only problem is that the x20 connector had to be cut (due to the damage of the car). I don not have a x20 connector to go off of, i only have the color of the wires in the harness.

    1. all of my wiring to the various sensors is all complete (have double checked)

    2. On passenger side harness there is one ground hooked up, and one positive wire hooked up. (I have the power wire that goes from the power to the fuse box on an e36 disconnected)

    3. Starter has the following going to it (btw its a brand new starter)
    -alternator
    -harness
    -black wire (large ring connector)
    -black wire (small ring connector)
the alternator and the harness wires are connected to the large terminal (of the 3 terminals) while the 2 black wires are connected to the medium terminal. I have been having issues trying to get info on wiring the starter but had found very little info on it. I first tried the 2 black wires going to the small and medium terminals and the starter does not work. i tried swapping the wires on the starter and all i get at the turn of the key is a metal disc spinning sound (does not sound good). I then had put both wires on the medium terminal and now the starter functions (had to widen the hole on the small ring connector).
MY First question is if my starter is wired right.

    4. Being that i had no x20 connector to work with, i went ahead and wired the c101 on the harness. the wires and pins are as followed:

pins that are unused on my c101 connector:
    3,8,9,14,15,17,19,20

    c101--------------------------------------->harness wire
    pin 1 blue blue
pin 2 blue/white not hooked up
    pin 4 brown/purple brown/purple
    pin 5 brown/green brown/green
pin 6 green/white not hooked up
    pin 7 green green
pin 10 blue/yellow not hooked up
    pin 11 white/green white/green
pin 12 green/yellow turns into brown grey
    pin 13 green/purple green/purple
    pin 16 white/black white/purple
    pin 18 black/yellow black/yellow

MY second question is if this wiring is correct

the following wire are NOT connected on the harness side:
    2 green wires
    black/grey
    purple/grey
    white/yellow
    white/black
    brown/yellow
    green/white (thicker gauge)
    black/white
    blue/yellow
    black/blue
    black/green
    black

MY third question is if these wires are needing to be connected to anything

I am running a 413 red ecu with a dinan tune.

I have tried to source the problem the best i can, looking for any leads to what could be the issue. I havent driven my e30 in almost a year and to be this far with out the car cranking over has got me bummed. hope you guys can help out so i can take this thing for a spin!

There are only a few connections needed to start and only a few of them are at the X20/C101.

You actually need very few sensors connected to get spark. The one critical signal for a spark and for energizing the fuel pump is the crank sensor signal.

One day I'd love to make a little wheel simulator that plugs in place of the CPS. It will simulate the motor turning at 1000 rpm so you can check the fuel pump, injectors, spark, etc.

I could almost say its your wiring.
