You're absolutely right-I am over thinking this. I just don't want to drop a grand and have it sound like a raspy Honda ya know? I'm thinking I'll just go with headers --> cat ---> Borla (Same one as the video) for now. It will keep me happy for long enough.

from what I read and there was a performance comparison I read online .
actually borla had the best hp gains of any exhaust .the borla sound is great it rumbles decent and my neighbors know when i'm coming.the essinmen just gives a little wilder sound more Ferrari like if that makes any sense.I know I should just stick with my borla but still on the fence about it.

If you want the car to sound good/great/awesome there are many many combinations. If you want an exotic sound out of the BMW powerplant then a TUBI or Arapovic or Eisenmann is a great option.
