    S50B30us isn't sitting right

So I finished putting the engine in today but for some reason the transmission isn't sitting right, I'll replace these mounts with a solid ones but I just wanted to see how it sits first, I used two e28 535i engine mounts. The driver side looks perfect but indoor like the passenger side. Also the shifter carrier isn't centered, any suggestions ?

    It's a s50b30us with a 95 M3 transmission in a 1992 convertible.

I'm new to this so bare with me, you're talking about the alignment tab underneath the green mount, Correct ? And doing so will fix how the transmission is sitting on its mounts ?what about the shifter carrier ? Should I just leave it ? Btw it's the shifter carrier that came with the 95 M3 transmission I think it's the ZF320 or something

Yes. Flip the green mounts. Should give you more wiggle room. And as far as the shift carrier goes, use e30 everything minus the lever.

You can use all the E36 parts. The shifter is fine. It'll line up when you get the engine mounting sorted.

Sweet ! Thanks guys, I'll flip the mounts tomorrow and report back.

Any idea where I should buy the re-enforced transmission mounts ? I'm using the mechanical fan and I read somewhere that if I don't enforc the trannys mount it will end up destroying the radiator once I slam the brakes
