    735i (E32) brake booster

I am working on a '94 M50 swap. Been looking for a good brake booster. I know all of the current options but never a 7er. I was poking around the junk yard and found an E32. I noticed it had a double drum booster design. At the time it didn't occur to me to measure it but I was wondering if that booster would fit (be narrow enough) in with the m50 into my '90 E30. Anyone know the diameter of the booster or thread sizes? ...just kinda curious
Now-> black '90 E30 spending too much time on jackstands..

yes it will work.. 535 I master cylinder, 325 ix brake reservoir, if you don't go remote reservoir. I have this set up in my car, I don't like it. intake elbow rubs up against brake reservoir..

If you use the spacer you need a remote res like me. I'm running the same booster, it's the same as a 325ix in the e32.

Thanks for the info. Helps clear things up a bit...also don't have to find a booster now. So does the shaft need to be modifies or is it the same thread pattern?

If you use the spacer you don;t need to modify the rod, I just purchased an 325ix clevis.

Yup! And it stops a hell of a lot better than the iX booster and master.

Mean if it stops the beastly E32...figure it'd stop a little E30 fine...

and 21 bucks for the booster and master cylinder at the yard isn't too terrible either.

I love the E32 735 setup, I'm using it with a remote reservoir in my car as well.

Can't understand why people run SMALLER parts from E21/Porsche.

The Porsche booster isn't as small as the E21. It's the same diameter, but is thicker, and has more internal space. My car stops harder now than it ever did.
