Ground Locations? No Start, No Crank:(

So I thought i was gonna be finished up with my swap this weekend but I got a no start, no crank situation which has me feeling a little down. I have triple checked the wiring, the relays are getting power, the ground that splits off the harness is attached to the strut tower, the engine mount ground is connected to the chasis, starter is good, engines spins with little effort via crank bolt. So when I turn the key nothing just dash light and idle air control humming. The only other thing i could think of that is wrong is I have an extra ground strap that I found laying around that is 6 inches long, I'm not sure if it's from the donor car though.


The engine is an M50tu out of a 93 325is automatic. My car is a 1985 318is.

You forgot to hook up a starter, small 8mm nut.

I took the starter over to auto zone, it failed spectaculary, not even a flinch.
