Am I crazy for trying to swap my DD when I use it as my DD

I went in wanting to finish it in 5 days. took 10 days. I borrowed friends car, it can be done just be ready to have it go longer then you think. All the little things add up especially when you see things that you think you should replace and doing it right. I don't think it's crazy to swap your DD just don't think there won't be any complications.

Don't do it. Unless you do it right the first time. And I mean RIGHT.

Because nothing is worse than having to take it back apart.

Pfft I pulled my trans instantly after the second slave blew out.
I may even swap the S52 with the roadster and put a stock motor back in and forget about boost.

Best route of action?

buy another car. use as car while you take apart this one.
Take your time and get it done right, or don't bother.

if it is your ONLY running car and its running good, taking it down may be shooting yourself in the foot.

If car was dying or dead I'd say go for it as you have nothing to loose.

Well my buddy helped me out and got my 88 vert back together so I will have a fall back car if it takes longer than expected. Thanks fr the advice everyone.
