    M50 W/ ZF Transmission

How far does the pedal need to be pushed down for the clutch to be engaged?

I push my pedal down ALL the way to the fire wall, and it will engage about a half inch from the firewall , its a pita to drive. Any Ideas how I can get this fixed?

^^this. I had two people help me; one making sure that the reservoir stayed full, one person checking the bleeder screw, and one continually pushing the pedal. MAKE SURE THE RES STAYES FULL. then bleed it, bleed it, bleed it. then do it again.

          and check your lines.

Okay. I will have a shop bleed it. My bleeding wasn't good enough. We used a power bleeder, still wasn't good. After using the power bleeder it gained some pressure, we tried to do it the old school way and it lost pressure right away.

I have an M50 with ZF and this man speaks the truth.

After three years of driving it even now I had to remove my elevator bolt because it was shifting like shit because it started engaging lower.

              Just bleed it bleed it.

what sucks is the bleeder screw is such a pain in the ass to get to and work with. took me forever, and I ended up with cargasm fluid on my face .

id you install the throwout bearing correctly? Flat sides top and bottom. Doing that wrong will meaningfully lower the engagement point.

Robert, definitely bleed it again. If you don't go to JMP or Castros just talk to Shant.
