    That's what I'm sayin.....

My ZF+3.73 lsd is stupid loosey. I can't imagine a $.10 you will have no traction through 3rd and have to feather the throttle to keep it straight.

Unless you are packin some 235/40 17 or 18's under there that's dumb.

I've got a S4.10 medium case you can have for cheap, as long as you cover shipping.

I don't see many tracks where I'd need more than 153...maybe in the future.
          What transmission are you running?

I have the 3.73 right now and it's pretty nice, but I'm never using 5th, so I'd like to improve the gearing a little bit. I think 3.91 would be ideal, but that is a pretty hard ratio to find.

E30 M3's had them on U.S. cars. In fact I used to have a good condition 4.10 out of my old E30 M3. When I joined the military I left it on a shelf in my moms garage with some other parts. When I came home for the first time, I noticed that my shelf with car parts now misteriously had totes with craft stuff. When I asked my mom what happened to that stuff, she said "oh I had some guys from church come over and clean out my garage, if it didn't look important they threw it out.

Tranny is E36 ZF. Tires are 265/630 17s or 275/40 17s. Although the tires I was running at VIR were the 265/630s.

In the US all e30 M3's came with the 4.10LSD as well as all late model 325is automatics.
In Europe you will have to figure out yourself what they came in.

Not sure if it was confirmed but the Z3M finned cover, or any med case cover, will not fit a small case diff.

Too many revs for you? I'm also running a 3.46 behind my zf...great for flying around town but too much for anything over 60 or so. I've got a 3.15 from an e36 stashed away and 3 other e30 diffs. I'm going to swap the 3.15 gears into an e30 case one day. If I screw it up, oh well, I'll sell my 3.46 and pick up a 3.25.

I'm sick of my zf / 4.10 combo. Its fun for about a week.

I'm thinking 3.15LSD. Just need to find one.

Eric, Chris runs a 3.91 with the ZF on his M3. He likes it for track use, you use 3-4-5 instead of 2-3-4 at HPR. 3/4/5 are closer spaced ratios, so it works well.
