Confirm wiring M20 to M50 Harness

Hello, first time engine swapper just wanna get some more experienced eyes to look over my Pinout I made to my specific swap:

    Im swapping an M50 out of a 92 525i into my 89 325i.

    E30 89 325i / E34 92 M50

1 Alternator Charging (Blue) / 25 Alternator (Blue)

    2 Oil Level Static (Green/Yellow) / 1 Oil level Static (Blue/Yellow)

    3 Not used

    4 Coolant Temp (Brown/Purple) / 12 Coolant Temp (Green/Grey)

    5 Oil Pressure (Brown/Green) / 23 Oil Pressure (Brown/Green)

    6 Diagnostic Connector (Green/White) 22 Diagnostic Connector (Green/White)

    7 Ignition (2 x Green) / 21 Ignition (Green)

    8 MPG gauge (White/Black) / 24 MPG gauge (White/Black)

9 Engine Speed (Black) / 20 Engine Speed (Black)

10 Oiil Level Dynamic (Blue) / 2 Oil Level Dynamic (Blue White)

11 SI Reset (Green/White) / 7 SI Reset Black (Violet)

12 Check Engine (Grey) / 8 Check Engine (Grey)

    13 Fuel Pump (Green/Purple) / 13 Fuel Pump (Green/Purple)

    14 Speed signal input (Black/White) / 14 Speed signal input (Brown/red)

15 Starter thin Wire (Black/Green) 15 Starter thin Wire (Black/Yellow)

    16 Diagnostic Plug (Black/White) / 19 Diagnostic (White/Green)

    17 Not used

    18 Starter Thick Wire (Black/Yellow) / 18 Starter Thick Wire (Black/Yellow)

    19 Not used

20 Not used On Body But car has ABS???

The M50 Harness obviously has more wires, I was curious if I can just delete (remove) some of the unused wires...
    #4 - Compressor Control Relay
    #5 - Trans Cooler
    #6 - Climate Control Module
    etc ...

...none of those connect to anything on the M20 body/harness since obviously those functions/features are not there...am I safe to just go ahead and remove all those without Ill-effects on the overall engine function? (probably a complete Facepalm question but I just wanna be sure)

    Thanks

Run 2 and 10 and a ground wire straight to the oil level sensor plug, no need for those to even go through the c101, you can disconnect teh 3 pin plug on the pan. I tapped the ground of the aux power provision near the fuse box. Looks like a black relay box with silver clip attached to fuse box.

but if you do, do it through the c101...

Yes it is non-vanos, sorry should have specified.

What about scrapping the rest of the M50 wires, is that a go?

#20 is for ABS relay on airbag cars. leave it disconnected since you have an 89. your ABS relay is under the dash.
