Just picked up an M52. I'm going to take my time with it and plan to go over it and replace as much as possible over the coming weeks. Will the Harbor Freight stand pictured be adequate?

just barely, it sags a bit more than I like but I have seen others put a block of wood under the front and the block to aid support.

I had mine on that same one and it worked fine, lubricate the nose first so the engine can rotate more smoothly. You will have to adjust the arms because of the engines center of gravity but once you do that it works very well.
It will work, the important thing is that you try to align the center of mass with the yoke. Otherwise, you'll rotate the engine and it will want to topple.
Used the same one for the m50, sat there for about 5 month's without a problem. I believe you're only able to line up the engine to three of the mounting arms.. From what i've read up on, and thats what I had to do too.
