M42-S50 swap... I have many questions

Is this list correct?

3.91 LSD
535i brake booster
740i master cylinder
Tree house racing harness adapter
ABS pigtail adapter
M5 motor mounts
e30 M3 driveshaft
e34 oilpan?

What else do I need before i start ripping out the motor?

535 boosters work? I thought it was just ix or 320i, cool.

So you're using an E36 transmission? In that case...

If you rarely go onto the freeway is the only real reason to have that Diff. I have a 3.73 LSD and I think it's perfect, however many use the 3.25 LSD.

May want to have a mod throw this in the M50/S50 swap sub forum.

Boo on the e36 tranny, boo on the choice of diff.

You'd be much happier with a 3.73LSD.

i havent bought the driveshaft or a tranny yet so im trying to get an idea on what i need. I do drive on the freeway but its not an issue ill be worried about if run with a 3.91 but a 3.73 is what many people have been telling me to use. Im looking for a tranny that has pretty close gears but has a higher 5th gear for cruising on the freeway, what about a getrag 260?

If using a Getrag 260 tranny go somewhere between 3.25-3.73...I had a 4.10 for awhile which was rediculously short then went 2.93 which took to long to get into "Vanos" period.
