    I wanna see the types of oils people use in the DOHC
    Synthetic or Conventional?
    What weight?

      mobil1 0w-40 in my 116k s52.

      Have ran 0w-40 in my other s52 from 120k to 150k with no problems.

        It also depends on the climate you live in too. Someone that lives Alaska should not be using the same viscosity oil that someone in Arizona is using.

        FYI
        (10w30)
        10w= the viscosity of the oil measured at 0 deg
        "w" meaning winter grade
        30= the viscosity of an oil when measured at 212 deg

        Viscosity is resistance to flow.
        An oil with high viscosity will be thicker than an oil with low viscosity.

                    Castrol GTX 20w50 past 2 E30s have ran great, and reliable for about 150k miles on the first one, and about 90k miles on the current one.

                      15w-50 fully synthetic in the summer and 5w-30 in the winter, also fully synthetic.
