latest issue after I started to dailying my car. brake light switch will not allow my brake pedal to release all the way causing my brakes to lock up unless I pull the switch. any ideas?

Sounds like you need to screw down the clevis on the end of your booster a bit to shorten the rod. You don't need to disconnect the booster from your pedal. Just break the 17mm nut loose and twist the rod with a pair of pliers until the pedal starts to back off of the switch. Once the brake lights stay on all the time you've gone too far.

I had the same issue and adjusted the switch instead. Solution above will also work

are there different length clevis' on the boosters? could i possibly be running one thats too long? With it all the way screwed in i still do not have any sort of room to fit the switchComment
