no fuel or spark. dme maybe?

so i was able to get everything hooked up last night and get the car to crank. heres what i got in it
    86 325es shell
95 s50us with matching zf and harness
    red 413 with trm chip
there is power coming to the dme, i ran a test light. there is a few pins on the harness adapter that have 12v. 26 i think i specifically remember having 12v.
The main relay clicks with the dme connected and ignition turned to run. if i disconnect the dme the relay wont click...i assume the dme powers the relay?
i have no fuel pump action but i jumped the relay and the pump runs.
i have voltage to 30 and 86 on both the main and the fp relay with the key on. i also have it at 85 when i plug the relays in. if i plug in the dme i get 12v coming out of the 2 red/white 87's on the main relay but not out of the green/violet on the fp relay. i hooked the ground end of the test light to the pin 8 grey and put the light to 12v. when i turn the key on i get no cel. bad dme? or is something wired wrong

could be an ECU or bad ground.

Let me know i have an ecu for sale. $75 shipped.

first check the 3 relays. If you have voltage at the coils and injectors then its the ECU not sending grounds.

This can happen for several different reasons. Bad ecus are pretty rare - if its getting super hot you are frying the coil drivers. my guess is bad ground.

ill get you the pin out later on today. i do have voltage to pin 3 on teh coils. havent checked at the injectors. i will do that tonight. should i have voltage at the injectors and coils all the time or when cranking or what. the ecu is grounded through the harness, i have a ground wire running to it and the block and oil pan are both grounded. the rail has the ground for injectors sldo. im just thinking its the dme cuz it will turn the main relay on but i never get a cel out of the thing.

ok heres what i got. i have power to the fuel injectors and the coils. i ran a ground tire up to the tower and put the harness ground and the new ground all together plus a ground on the dme case. no fuel pump relay or spark. i do not have a cel. the chip is in the right way. and here is my pin out. personally i think its a bad dme but maybe someone will catch something

well so other people know, it was the dme that was bad. got a buddy to grab me one at the pick and pull for 30 bucks red 413. swapped it out and i had a cel. instantly knew we were in business. cranked her over and had power to the fuel pump. cranked for awhile and got duel up there and bam. SHE LIVES
