    Sounds about right. You will also need to wire in the C104 which is a 3-pin connector that plugs in by the ECU in your glovebox and utilizes the Tach signal, Econometer signal, & OBC Power. You can cut both of these connections (square fusebox plug too) off of your old harness if you aren't using it.

    24v Swap wiring adapter questions

    I'm in the process of sourcing parts for a 93 m50b26tu swap into a 85 6cyl chassis. And I want to avoid splicing wires and cutting any of my harness if possible, so from what I've seen I would need to make a wiring harness adapter that would play the middleman role between the engine harness and the chassis harness.

    I'm wondering if you guys can help point me in the right direction, if I'm getting confused somewhere.
    So, to accomplish what i want, I would need a the square c101 plug from an older e30 engine harness and a plug from the chassis side of a m50 harness right?

    Basically this:

    Then follow the appropriate wiring diagrams, connect the wires to the correct pins and the end result should be something like this (except with a square early model c101 plug):
