I know i would never want to go much higher hp than a stock s50. I say that now before a s50, that thought will prob change but.... I say a perfect rebuilt 240 hp motor is perfect start than if you want more power in a few years, months, whatever you have a good start with a rebuilt.

Well im thinkin about chaging directions and getting itbs for the m42
If your car isnt breaking, you're not driving it hard enough..

as Carrol Shelby once said "A good driver never experiences turbo lag."

Trust me, turbocharging the M42 is easier said than done. I've still got a dead T3 in my garage I was going to use for mock up. If I knew someone that could weld me up a top-mount turbo-manifold and not charge a ton of moeny I probablly would have tried it.

But in the end, being in high-school and only having one car and not enough money bit me in the ass.

Oh well, I'm past the turbo-stage and would rather do an S50 swap in the future. My moms '98 M3 hauls with the S52 and weighs what, atleast 3400lbs I think?

So, an S50 in a 2600lbs would be stupid fast. Which is more then enough for me :)

And last time I checked ITB's were money. I'd rather just do a swap and end up with more horsepower and a lot more room to improve.
