What's it like cruising on the highway? I've got a 3.25 in mine now and I keep up with E46 M3's at the Glen. A 3.46 would definitely spice things up a bit but I'm afraid of what it'll be like on the highway especially on long rides to and from the track.

i think there is some driver error here. not knocking on your but my eta 86es ran a 15.8 with a magnaflow muffler and a 2.93 rear. so the s50 better push low 14's. ive heard of people in the 13's

I'm amazed no one has asked wheel/tire setup. If you're on 14" weaves with 195s you'll never get anywhere. Hell, I spun through 60 with 215 all seasons.

its about the same as when I had the 4.10 behind a G260....it can get a bit obnoxious on the highway but I think mine is mostly due to exhaust. I'm building a 3.15 but looking out for a 3.25.

          my 3.46 came from a 6 series
