It's Achatgrun Metallic, I absolutely love it, and I don't see a whole lot of BMWs in it...I wonder why. It was a factory color.

Thanks guys, seriously haha. I'm glad he's getting some good reception. I need to get the interior complete...headliner needs attention, carpet needs replaced, and the front seats need recovered...I'd also like to go with a wood steering wheel. I've seen a guy on here doing wood grain valve covers...curious if he could do a wheel.

I would seriously consider going to that color one day, it really is that beautiful.

I wish you would just go with red, black or microsuede for interior stuff, that plaid stuff just looks cheap imho...

Holland - do it man! You wont regret it! I've always loved the Shelby racing green on the early fastbacks, GTs, and on some of the tigers. The achatgrun is damned close. I went with a medium metallic flake as well, it gives it that depth and makes it pop.

Jean- yeah man, I'm planning on re-upholstering my seats in something close to the orig. perforated vinyl, but the plaids gotta stay. What can I say, I'm a lumberjack ;) haha a cheap one at that! Haha

Then there may be 2 of them up here, because that color is one of 3 I'm thinking about. I actually gasped a bit when I scrolled down the first time and saw it.

Lol I didn't know it existed, and it's really close to Dschwarz so a color change wouldn't be too drastic. It would be odd if we both painted our cars the same color...

I would support a double car paint job 100%, the gay bit, well that's fine too hahaha. And OT? There is nothing OT about that.
