oh shit! I cut the pluf off of the harness and spliced the e30 plug on. I used your chart to match the e30 color to the e36 color for about half of them, I had to figure the rest out. What was I supposed to do?

As far as your wiring skillz... sounds like a slightly good idea, but i hope you left some wire on your connector so you can see which pin goes with which color. Obviously there are differences in the wire colors from year to year, so going strictly off color wont work too well.

Well I'll be done wiring it up tomorrow, I only have two more wires. I did leave plenty of room to see the original wires. If it works I'll send you the info needed to wire up a m42 if you want it for your website. Thanks again Addissmo.Comment

addissimo - i looked over the wiring diagram you had. nice work. i had mine wired that way for a year until i noticed the o2 heating element was not getting power. check you o2 relay (green wire) for power. cheers, jason

Well, I went to a autocross instead of finishing the wiring, but I'll let you know when its finished. By the way I can't find the wire for the 02 sensor on the e30 side of the harness, is the wire coming from the fuse box? ThanksComment
