i used a good amount of e30 hoses cut to fir and even a few random 90 degree ones from auto zone. if i remember correctly i had quite a few brand new e36 hoses left over that i ended up not using. kinda pissed me off. not i was using the m42 rad. so i may have a different application than you
If you plan on replacing all the hoses anyhow (which you likely should) - then you'll end up using most of those, possibly all of them, depending on your radiator/expansion tank setup, and whether or not you plan to run your heater (becuz streetcar).
In most cases the lower radiator hose is a bit too long for the e30 fitment. I ran mine without cutting it, but it rubs against the front of the motor near the timing chain tensioner, and I need to cut it shorter so that it clears.

I'd only order the e36 upper & lower radiator hoses. Get the rest of the hoses at your local autoparts store as they're either straight shots or custom.
