Problem was the ICV needed cleaning and a vacuum leak in the ICV lines. ODB1 scanner told me the MAF was the problem, yet it was not in the slightest.
You gotta be smarter then the computer, you were successful.

I know I have slowly been eliminating the causes to my issues, getting the wires hooked up properly last night should help, it was getting to late to really fire it up and listen to it.

Next item on my list is the ICV, I cleaned it a little when I had it off, but I also mounted it vertically. I am going to turn it horizontal see if that would make it work/run any different.

        Got it!

        In the end, fuck ICV's....

I cleaned it before, but not inside. I just poured a bunch of rubbing alcohol in it then WD-40!

Glad you figured it out man. I had this exact same problem and it ended up being a really dirty ICV. Luckily this was the first thing I checked and it fixed the problem right away. Get going with installing that exhaust. Plans?

Exhaust is being installed right now, just waiting for that phone call to go get it. I am running ebay rep headers to a magnaflow muffler back to a silverline muffler. I hope she purrs. I will probably take a sound clip video eventually.

It is a huge relief that it is capable of running and driving now. Still a few things to sort out, like why my temp gauge isn't working and why my DME gets really warm, as well as this weird clicking noise from my dash, sounds like a relay going on and off.

Other then that, just gotta order some new seals for my rear differential as it is leaking and make a bracket to hold PS reservoir and intake.

none of those things sound terribly fun. :(

                  Woot I semi called it!

To clean mine I sprayed inside with simple green and used many q-tips trying to clean the inside. Then of course a little WD-40 as well once it was as clean as can be. You want the ICV valve to rotate freely by just rolling it in your hand.

I poured A LOT of isopropyl alcohol in it and shook the shit out of it until I heard the valve slam open and closed, it wasn't doing that before so I think that was my problem.

Then blew it with compressed air and a healthy portion of WD-40, followed by a quick test with a 12V current to make sure it A) closed all the way and B) open all the way. :D

Now can anyone confirm or deny this: Is my CEL of 1211 because of my aftermarket chip, or is it something bigger.

I am positive my grounds are all hooked up. I guess that would be negative...:p

I may have an extra power supply hooked up that I might need to remove, I will check that tonight. Long red cable coming from M50 harness... Heard it was optional but when giving it power it makes ABS click on? (This was when my chip was backwards, haha... So it may click on without that power source.) I think it also makes whatever in my dash click as well, I will remove it and see if stuff still functions properly, or maybe I forgot to tighten it and it clicks as it looses signal and regains it, but I have yet to have an ABS light on my dash...

Oh the joys, haha. I am so tired of work, I just wanna wrench on the car... Almost time to head back for Fall though! I will set up a M&E, hopefully its a good showing, meet the crew.

Luckily the temperature sender was the thing causing all those symptoms. I had the wrong one so it was sending a unwanted/unnecessary 5V signal to the DME.
