Getrag 250 vs ZF trans ratios

How much different (if at all) are the ratios between a ZF and a G250? I'm running a Getrag right now but may want to upgrade to the stronger/newer unit later and don't want to have to change the rear diff to compensate at the time.

Also, would I need a different driveshaft? Using the E36 325is part that matches the G250.
For all things 24v, check out Markert Motorworks!

Barley different at all. Were talking like .05 difference in some gears.
You would need a ZF DS.

You could not use the ETA driveshaft? Need to source either one really.
