    Secondary Air Pump Simulator

Is anyone using a secondary air pump simulator to keep their OBDII swap from giving a check engine for SAP. I get P1421 and P1423 and it looks like a simulator will get rid of the code. Also have slight uneven running for the first minute or two on cold start up and thought this whole SAP may be the issue.

Would appreciate any thoughts on this.

That is not because of no SAP, that is normal. Later BMW issued another flash to fix that cold idle hesitation. I got those new programs.
why would you spend money on simulator and have to cut wires, when you can just get your DME properly flashed, and will look all factory and no need to do anything else

Just what I wanted to hear! I didn't want to spend money on something that just covers up the problem. Can you flash out the SAP also while you are at it and how much to do it?

Wow Desert that new ECU worked great!!! Dead cold start w/perfect drivability no SAP light yet and the power through my butt dyno feels better too. Was that a pure stock BMW tune or is it pumped up a bit. Feels great, I'll need some rear tires soon I'll bet.

            Thank You
