Hey, its legal in alot of US states haha.
But seriously, Im going to simply move my E30 booster over 1/2" and modify the clevis on the pedal.. Im hoping with that my intake will fit ok. I wasnt too interested in buying another booster.. The Ix one would be ok but I think the e21 booster option sucks
Please don't do that. Booster FAR are less than 1 ER copay.
To clarify IMO those two things are equivocally wrong in degree of lunacy. Much like slotting the firewall, modifying the structure to the pedal of life.

It's cool bro This is a case of pot meet kettle, I've just been on a hiatus. ;)

I followed what a few other Members did.( http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=250474 )I didnt slot the firewall.. I moved the holes over (the firewall is thin sheetmetal anyway, so whatever you do to it doesnt matter a whole lot.. its the pedalgear that really deals with the braking force of your foot)
heres some pics of how I did it. I had a spare booster, my intention was to cut the clevis in half and weld it to another clevis.. somebody threw out my booster though so I had to make a piece
Who says you cant have all 4 nuts holding it down?
My clevis mod isnt pretty but the welds are strong, and in the event that it did happen to break, the clevis pin is still through one side of the factory setup so you would still stop
Factory brake feel for zero dollars. and no ER copayLast edited by bimmer630; 12-11-2012, 02:37 PM.Comment

My subframe also broke this year on the track. Yours doesn't look as salt seasoned as mine but it's much nicer to start with a rust free subframe and reinforce it from there.

That's a pretty common issue on these e30 front subs. My first swap I had one not attached and had to weld it back on. No rust either, they just fatigue out after time.
