E30 m52 gear linkage???

Hi, new to the forum. May have already covered topic but struggle to search on phone sao help needed :)

Rite, building e30 m52b28 with e36 328 gearbox, prop.

Q. What selector+ linkage do I use as having issues with it popping out of 2nd and not quite reaching reverse useing m20 2.5 linkage at moment and no good

Any help appreciated.

Use the entire linkage from the e36 328 gearbox. I also suggest using the z3 short shifter for an improved feel

Do I need to change the part that the is mounted to che chassis as I'm sure the e36 selector was hitting the prop.

You shouldnt need to. In my e30 with m52 and e36 trans, I have the complete e36 linkage, e30 body mount, and z3 shifter

I have both e36 linkage with brand new AKG Front bushings, lemme know if you're interested. $40 shipped for both.

Will try this weekend as I have parts already. Got an e34 with z3 shifter that I will steal :)
