    Flywheel gurus, I need help!!

    Hey guys,

So I have a 633csi m30 flywheel (14.5lbs) in my s50 that I just swapped into my eta. I've been told thru multiple sources that the 24v starter will work with this combo, but when I go to start the car, it seems as if the starter is jammed up and not working with the flywheel?

Any ideas guy? Any help would be greatly appreciated :(

Why not use an M20 flywheel?

Not as far as I know.
No one over here has ever used the M30 flywheel.

        M20, lightened to about 6kg.

And it's more so to do with the starter not having the right amount of teeth for it to mate with the M30 flywheel.

One of my friends is using the M30 flywheel with his M52 engine (and M52 starter.) So I suppose it should work.

          What starter are you using?

If you end up using an m20. I know a cheap place to have it milled down, I did mine.

Count the teeth on the M5x starter, if it is to work with the M30 Fly, it should have 9 teeth
