It's only slightly touching and I can actually see light in between.. all its gonna do is cause some vibration in the cabin which I already have with the harsh engine and transmission mounts.
Just asked this question because I swear I saw a picture of 1 guy who had the side of his intake ground down pretty far.
( build thread with pics of my booster mod. )

I did modify it. I figured since the clevis only gets moved about 1/2" , that's as far as the booster itself could go. Right now my pushrod has a straight shot into the booster

You have to relocate the clevis. See that thread where they mod it. If not youll go through boosters like crazy. I moved mine 1"+

1/2". That's as far as you can go or else the clevis won't line up(?)
I think I can move the engine forward a little if I rotate my mounts more.. but I still might want to take more material off the intake. How far can you shave before you start making holes?

Some pictures I've seen on the forum show intakes that look like theyre ground down even past the level where the fins are. How thick are the walls of these intakes? I shaved my fins and the intake is still touching my brake boosterTags: None
