A corolla could spin those tyres....in the dry.

What exactly is your goal with the car?

If you are trying to achieve your best quarter mile for a stoclk s52 in a e30. your only true right way to do it is at the track.

Where you can see real world numbers visually and in a stat sheet. You can record your errors on a replay, run after run and find ways to improve your time. Either adding weight to certain areas, changing gear ratio to tranny ratio And its the safest way to do it.

I would like to see your best run, but at a track with numbers.

personally am into the e30 v8 swap and would love to see one run with the v8 at stock location and a run with the engine further back. To see the difference.

My car is for track days but I do want to go to the quarter mile.

I was going to install Hankook Rs3 225/50/16 but after reading they are going to rub with my 16x8 style 5 wheels unless I roll my fenders or install fender flares. Buying racing tires in PR is a pita.

Just roll the fenders, especially if it's mostly a track car. I had mine rolled to fit 235's out back, and coming from 215's it's a world of difference. The extra grip is well worth it in my opinion.

I actually have 17's running 235/40/17. If you post in the wheel/tire or track sections someone may be able to help you find something wider that will fit (I'm not knowledgeable enough myself).
