However, maybe something worth nothing...on the X20 side of the AKG adapter compared to my home built adapter (lol,) there were a significant number of pins missing. Same with the C101 side, too.

Well for sure theres no pin 6 so your diag port will never work. Where do they have pin 11 going on the X20?

Check that pin 11. You have 13 pins on each connector but pin 11 isnt 'supposed' to be there on x20. Im betting its connected to something on c101 thats messing things up? They also have pin 20 on the c101 but no idea where its going on the x20

Pin 11 on the X20 goes to pin 20 on the c101.

Interesting. Also interesting to note the number of pins missing from X20. Think that has something to do with it?

Checked em all. Theyre fine assume they match up properly to the C101.

So, I guess what I'm asking at this point- could the harness adapter be the cause of no ground signal to main relays? I've literally tried everything else besides that. May just end up modifying the harness to accept a C101 plug, but don't want to do that unless I know that the adapter is the culprit.

Its not looking like it no. The injectors are ground triggered by the ECU, they have constant switched 12v. I would look back at crank sensor/crank pulley as thats really the only thing it relys on to fire them. (again they will batch fire if cam sensor signal is gone or shit)

3 wires? 1 should go to the starter and 1 should go to the main harness power. What's the third? From what I recall, there's 2 similar looking wires that come out of a common spot but one is a ground (brown under the insulation) and the other is full power (red under insulation).

Edit: Also something looks off about that terminal.

                        Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

^Hes got the 2 fusebox pwr wires and then the starter wire. ECU power wire (im pretty sure) is going to the ECU power terminal (little 10 by itself)
