    Crazy MPG (innacurate) with 24V!

I got my swap done just in time to have a few long roadtests and then use it to drive to Cleveland, Ohio... Had to go, it was an important court date and I didnt have many options besides taking the E30.. Im glad I did, It drove great the whole time, except when in city traffic with no mechanical fan, it started to get warm..

But anyway, how does the OBC work exactly? I think this OBC came from a 325e so the mileage wasnt right even with my M20 I motor. But what makes it so different now? OBC mileage goes off VSS and RPM and fuel injection I think (??)

Is there any way to make it work (closer to) correctly with an S50 engine? I dont really care if there isnt a way but it would be cool

BTW im getting BETTER mileage per tank with this engine, AND better power/acceleration/torque/smoothness/etc...

it's wrong because your injector size is different with the bigger motor, the OBC sees a smaller pulse width and assumes you're using less fuel.

I'm actually using the same m30 injectors that were on my m20, because one of my s50 injectors stopped working. So there has to be something else with the newer dme that fools the obc
