Why don't you post a photo of what you have. I bought an "iX" booster that turned out to be something more like a 7-series booster. I made it all work but yea I had to search around for the correct MC and the reservoir. If it's an actual iX master cylinder then an e30 reservoir should work.
DSM remote reservoir works great, sand off all the Japanese lol.
Take the part that pushes into the master cylinder off of the DSM as well, those push right into the IX res. It's decent and cheap and with a little paint looks good, just make a mount and you are good to go!

iX/e32 booster for sure, but even I had to shave some fins off the intake manifold. Not much, just a couple where it rubbed. Alternatively, you can raise the engine but it's a hassle if you didn't do that to begin with.
Either an iX or e32 res will fit on the master, but it won't clear the throttle body if you keep the booster spacer. You'll have to use the remote boosters mentioned above.

Remove the spacer from the back of the booster and mount it directly to the firewall. This will force you to thread and cut the clevis rod and slot the holes in the firewall as required, but you will be good to go with minimal (if any) intake shaving. Your master will now also clear the intake boot.
We ended up flipping the spacer 180 degrees. The spacer tilted the booster upward. this way it tilts it downward towards the driver side. Plenty of clearance now! Why has nobody recommended this?

Not much experience in plumbing huh....
Water seeks it's own level, and incline promotes flow, or inhibits it. With the design of pulling clutch off the top and brake off the bottom the design ensures if you lose your clutch, you still have brakes since they draw off the bottom of the res.
You change the tilt, you change the min amount of fluid the res can operate effectively in those conditions.
But if you kept the fluid filled you may never have an issue...ever.

I've actually built a sewer pipe before and understand water/turd flow dynamics.
I am using a remote reservoir, therefore the angle I created by flipping the spacer is negligible.
I should have been a bit more clear when I said tilt. It's minimal just like your concern. How often do you run your car out of hydraulic fluid?
The amount of room this creates is well worth checking your fluid levels regularly. Which I'm sure you do, right?
