    TCD bottom-mount manifold M50

I e-mailed TCD yesterday and they said that their m50 manifold fits in the e30 application, but can't find any pics or info with more details. Anybody confirm? Use it? Pics? Bueller?

looks good enough for me, great deal on them too since they're half the cost of the GnT's

Bottom mount cast manifold vs a top mount tubular manifold. Charge piping is more complicated, usually requiring a new passenger side engine mount, and depending on how low the turbo ends up being mounted you most likely will need a scavenge pump. Looking at the system as a whole you would probably save some money with a top mount. Either way I approve.

Spa bottom mount, but just for reference.

I'm loving it, having the turbo tucked away helps the sleeper theme I'm going to be rocking. schpanky approved.

You will be probably be limited on turbo selection as well, they typically need to be an on-center type.

The way I look at it is this; If you're going for lots of power, you gotta go tube mani/twin scroll. If you want decent power from a DD, you can't beat the packaging of a TCD log manifold.

Whodwho is correct on turbo selection, OC housing only with TCD manifolds. Todd did a really good job choosing the turbos to go with his manifolds. When I purchased an m30 kit from him years ago, the turbo he suggested I start with was the perfect compromise between power and response. I would suggest picking up a turbo from him if you get a manifold.
