    E28 535 Motormounts(Green) Can i use these with m20 short period?

Motormounts... I am doing the m50 swap very soon, so i have the big green heavy duty motor mounts for that. BUT, I got 1 more race this weekend before i gut it of its eta heart, and I also have a torn motor mount which wont let me be able to race. Can i use the e28 motor mount for this weekend

The problem is, I am not sure how it would sit, plus the mount is about a half an inch taller than the m20 ones, so it would put the motor up higher, need your help, thanks.

I think if you really must race then the mount will do what it needs to for the weekend. There is quite a bit of room above the manifold before hitting the hood so you should be just fine.

Oh, well, I didnt know if the engine being elevated up half an inch more would put any weird strain on the tranny, or driveshaft. Any thoughts of that?

No more then a sagging stock mount that slips off and rests the pan on the subframe while the clutch fan chews the radiator up?

Oil pan doesnt rest on subframe, but your right about the fan chewing up the radiator, only under hard braking though.
