For what it's worth I had a great experience with Dave. Very professional and quick to reply.

Yes i Know Dave is a good guy, but, the DME has been initialy ordered in december last year, and it's the second time it needs to be replaced. the first DME was from technica tuned with a known bad tune according to dave, he directly sent me back a new one, this time tuned by TRM, and unfortunately, it's bad too.

You can't imagine how many time and money i'v spent searching in the harness and everywhere in my car, because of TWO bad DME, replacing coils, sensors, etc.... And you can't imagine how happy i was trying a third DME from a friend, and finnaly test drive my car with succes ( no mire misfire )

                received the DME

same problem, one wot acceleration, and will run on 4 cylinders...

switch back my working DME, and it works perfect.

my guess is : no one tested the DME, one more time...

Are you running a Siemens MS41.x?

I had a similar issue with my Markert/TRM-flashed ECU. When everything was first installed, though before drilling holes for the O2 bungs and connecting them, it ran well (although obviously rich). On several instances after the O2 sensors were installed and I did a WOT pull, it would start running like shit. Sometimes it would fix itself if left to idle for a minute or two; other times it required shutting off the car and restarting it. It continued to do this intermittently until I reset the ECU (left the battery disconnected for 1hr+) and got most of the codes cleared. It absolutely felt like a miss or that all six cylinders were not firing, though unplugging each coil one at a time caused the engine to run worse so I assumed an issue from within the ECU - perhaps mixture, timing or both.

Since then, and currently, I have two hard O2 heater codes which will not clear, though the car smooths out and runs well 45-60 seconds after a cold start. One theory I was given is that the pins on the ECU are not communicating with the correct (O2) wires on the harness. I plan to get some diagnostic help from that friend who offered use of his oscilloscope after the Brodeo. If the solution is as simple as changing the ECU pins, we'll probably just take care of that. If not, I will look to Dave/TRM to get it resolved.

Why did you waste all of your money and time doing business with TRM and Technica when everybody knows I am the best when it comes to MS41 coding for swaps?

I don't think demeaning other vendors is going to help you get more business.

What evidence can you show to back up that claim?

Euro spec m52b28 uses MS41 ecu. and the cranck sensor in on the cranckaft front pulley. apparently, the cranck sensor is not at the same place on ms41.1 us spec ?
