M50NV injectors not grounding

    Is there a brown wire coming off the front of your fuel rail? I don't know how diff a non vanos is from a vanos. But my vanos motor has a ground that goes from the fuel rail and grounds to my vanos cover

      On your motor from the pic it looks like it would ground at the hoist hook location

        I do have that little wire and its grounded but maybe not well enough. Whats the proper location for this wire?

          that wire is for the coil packs iirc, it has NOTHING to do with the fuel injectors. Remember the fuel injectors sit at +12v and are grounded through the DME to fire. Get a wire diagram and trace the grounds on the DME side after you confirm the fuel injectors are at battery voltage with the key in the 'Run' position - you can check either side of the fuel injectors with a Voltmeter/Multi-meter with respect to ground (the engine, shock tower, front battery tray ground point, etc).
