    Speedometer doubled, odd cluster problems

When I am driving, my speedometer seems to be doubled what I am actually doing, I have the proper coding plug, so thats not the issue (m20 -> m50tu)
My vehicle speed sensor is wired from the green plug to the dme..

I figure this may be effecting why it doesnt start as easy when its warmed up (takes a couple cranks and doesnt idle right away) but when its cold it starts up perfect..
That and the coolant temp isnt getting a reading. im gonna replace the cluster sensor and see what happens (maybe I should just replace them both?)

    What do you guys think?

Didn't doubt you fully, just making sure since you only mentioned colors.

Have you tried grounding the coolant sensor plug? It'll ping the thermostat to max temp indicating your wiring is correct.

Blue sensor goes to ECU, Black sensor goes to cluster... Brown?

                ^Problem A:
Black base sensor is for E36 Cluster. You need an E30 one.
