Thanx. I've got the same brake booster mounted in my Touring as you have in your car. So the normal reservoir doesn't fit. This is a nice solution.

It's no longer mine but here's a pic of my S50 E30 engine bay that I took for the FS ad.

blkbma on this forum now owns it.

Great way to spend my morning was to look at 46 pages of sexy engine bays.

I should be picking up a new to me E39 on Sunday and my M52 OBDI swap will officially be underway. :D Starting to hoard parts now.

sorry if this isn't the best thread to ask... but my motor is out on the e30 and my s52 is ready top drop in.. however -it appears the e34 525 oil pan looks like it will sit just as low as the m42's.

what have some of you guys done to get that up a little? can you use washers on the engine mounts or something? i just don't wanna bust oil pans all the time.. and rather not raise the coilovers.. fml. HELP!

Nice car - the Systems look great in black.

I have an EJ Night skid plate. 10K miles, it doesn't have a scratch on it, but I am careful. IMO, a lower center of gravity and proper drivetrain geometry are as important as protecting the pan.

Damn you, Janderson! I'm looking to do the bedliner finish in my bay as well. I'll change a few things though, so you can be jealous of mine instead

Little something we've been working on at the shop. (Mattblack on here) All unnecessary brackets removed, seam sealer stripped, ABS deleted, then shot in the factory Sterling Silver with a flattened clear over it. Just need to mount the MAF, make a bracket for the diagnostic port and put on the hoses and it's ready to go.

                            1988 E30M3 - built S52

Just need to get a rail cover and finish my A/C install. I also ordered OEM BMW wire wrap for the harness, I hate exposed electrical tape.

Balanced and blueprinted, 11.5to1 JE pistons, custom cams, DR Vanos stage 2, WAR chip, one off custom exhaust with Rogue Engineering muffler, M50 manifold, S54 oil housing with cooler - she pulls HARD all the way to 8k rpm's. It's built to run about 8500 but I rev limit it to 8k.
