Heres is what I got after a few hours of fabrication. Its a 2.5 inch pipe all the way to a Magnaflow muffler. I will post pics soon with it on the car, I have to paint it first. Enjoy!
Very nicely done. How loud do you think that will be. no resonator no cat.
You goin straight pipes huh?
It shouldent be too loud. My daily driver e30 has a similar setup and it sounds good. I can get away with no cat, I live in connecticut and you are not required to pass emissions. Its been like this for about 5 years now.

cool, how many hours would that take to do from a shop?... say that it's from the downpipes to the muffler.. What would you think? hours-wise

It took me exactly 6 hours. I had to modify one of the headers too. A shop with someone who knows what they are doin would probably charge for a full day I would think. It is alot of work to get it to fit right.
I am going to put it on tonight. If its too loud I will put a resonator in there. But do you really think it will be louder than my M20 with a similar setup?
Looks good, I would suggest adding in a 1' piece of flex pipe though, sure has come in handy for me cause I can just drop the exhaust down without having to pull it off. How low is the exhaust gonna be right by the rear subframe? When I built mine I had to crush the pipe and then widen it so I didn't lose ground clearance.
