3/4 tank of gas and complete interior spare tire etc




with driver (left and right sides are reversed got the wires mixed up)

yup seems pretty spot on to me just figured it might be helpful to someone else. I would imagine if I had a zf or g260 it would be even closer to balanced f to r.

This is perfect, I'm a weight and balance tech for aircraft and I made a spread sheet of expected weight and I have a '91 318is with a m50 w/ vanos. And that's about what I estimated. Good to know im not bad at my job hahaha

My 89i with an M50NV, G260, medium case lsd, 1/4 tank of gas, full interior, power steering, spare tire and 180lb driver came in at 2700lbs. Only weight reduction is removal of ac and trunk tar.

Nic! Just to compare my mt1 84 318i chassis with all 325i running gear / full interior etc / with m30b35 swap and half a tank of gas on similar corner weight scales measured 250x lbs.

My car is similarly specced, and it too weighs in the same ballpark. '91 non-sunroof, M52, Getrag 250, med-case 3.73LSD, etc. 1/4 tank of gas.
