piecing together my swap, what is the best master cylinder to run and what booster? Im looking for bolt in and am not to crazy about slotting the firewall. My brake master went out am currently DD the car so now is as good a time as any to change the booster and master. thanks in advance for the help.

Im in the middle of my swap now and I went with a iX booster because I didnt want to deal with slotting/ rethreading, etc, but because we dont have ABS (mine is also an 84 318 it might be easier to just use the stock stuff and slot the holes and modify the clevis.

This is personal preference. I didnt want to deal with modifying the firewall, modifying the clvis, etc so I used an iX booster and master and we are "T"ing the two front brake lines into one. Basically your only other option is to run the stock booster and master and slot the firewall, and modify the clevis. your call

spend a LOT of time researching. 84s are a different beast alltogether. I thought I had most of it figured out and its been one thing after another.
