    NV CPS (cam) resistance

    Tried searching with no luck, I have an m50nv that is idling erraticaly like the video from this post:


    Unplugging the CPS cause no obvious change in idle and the resistance is 1334 ohms. Anyone know if this is good? The post above says that a good sensor should be around 1400 ohms. Can anyone confirm this? Does anyone have a good one that they would mind testing real quick?

    Replace it. I had bad CPS in 2 different cars and measuring resistance didn't do anything. If you unplug and it idles the same, its very possible that its the problem.

      I might just pull the trigger and buy one but it would be awesome to know before I spent the money. Then I won't go through the "replace everything" cycle when it doesn't fix the problem...
