I found a local m52 that I want to swap into my dead e30 in the backyard. Its a hell of a deal, 100k miles, 600 bucks. But it's auto. Is that going to be an issue when swapping into the e30? What will I need to make it standard? Thanks.

You'll regret swapping an auto if you want a manual. Just get a manual tranny for it, there's a lot of information online on what you need. And manual 24v swaps are MUCH more documented, so it'll be easier to look for info when you run into issues.The first car I ever rode in was an e30
